Mont-Ferrant La Senyora D.O Cava
10.89€ IVA Inclòs
On his return from the West Indies, Agustí Vilaret planted vineyards, built the winery and bought all the equipment needed to produce his beloved sparkling wine. The name Brut Nature comes from this story as a tribute to the land where the brand began.
The foam and bubbles, which merge into a whole as the wine evolves, give off a light and very delicate thread of smoke. On the nose, it gives off aromas of citrus peel, tree bark and dried herbs (rosemary, thyme …). In the mouth this cava is at the right point of taste maturity.
Elaboration: Mont-Ferrant is the oldest cava house in Spain. It has been 150 years of dedication in the production of quality sparkling wines using strictly the traditional method and in all these years has developed a personality marked by a deep acidity, a great storage capacity and a character difficult to forget.
Vineyard: The winter of 2013 was normal and dry, and the spring was rainy and cold, which delayed the sprouting of the plant and the ripening of the fruit. The September rains also contributed to the fact that this year’s harvest was significantly later than in recent years. The 2013 cavas are fresh, aromatic and elegant.
