Formatge cilíndric de cares planes i arestes vives, d’escorça natural, amb tons de color fusta i gris. Presència de petits ulls a l’interior, distribuïts de manera irregular, i un color de pasta de color groc feble i concentrat, característic de la llet d’ovella. De tall tancat i textura tendra. Notes dolços de llet d’ovella a l’entrada, amb una sal molt integrada i d’intensitat mitjana. Persistència mitjana, deixant un suau gust de la fin molt agradable.

Recomanacions: La primera opció, sempre és consumir-sol. De tota manera, el formatge, sempre ha estat ingredient en multitud de plats. El Ros petit, combinaria bé amb amanides, carns i postres, en els quals es vulgui donar un toc làctic, però no molt intens. Amb pa torrat i una melmelada dolça o àcida. Ideal per acompanyar amb vins blancs, d’agulla i de poca graduació.

Cuina: com a acompanyament de verdures (cuinades de qualsevol forma), sobre torrades i hortalisses, en amanides de fruita dolça.

Cylindrical cheese with flat faces and sharp edges, natural rind, with shades of wood and gray. Presence of small eyes inside, irregularly distributed, and a weak and concentrated yellow paste color, characteristic of sheep’s milk. Close cut and tender texture. Sweet notes of sheep’s milk at the entrance, with a highly integrated salt and medium intensity. Medium persistence, leaving a very pleasant soft flavor of the fine.

Recommendations :The first option is always to be consumed alone. However, cheese has always been an ingredient in many dishes. The small Ros would go well with salads, meats and desserts, in which you want to give a lactic touch, but not very intense. With toasted bread and a sweet or sour jam. Ideal to accompany with white wines, needle and little graduation.

Kitchen room: As an accompaniment to vegetables (cooked in any way), on toast and vegetables, in sweet fruit salads.
